Security Technology & Team

With a dedicated 24/7 security team that provides security services, on-site alarm monitoring & armed response services, backed up by some of the most up to date security technology available that includes secure perimeter fencing, electric fencing, biometric access control systems and over 160 perimeter CCTV cameras fitted with video analytics and artificial intelligence systems (AI), all monitored and controlled by our on-site Security Control Room supported by an off-site monitoring service.

All security systems are backed up by a stand-alone power supply to ensure constant operation  all combining to ensure that the Rest Nature Estate remains “Your natural habitat.”

Guarding Services

Thorburn Security was appointed in November 2014 to provide dedicated guarding, patrolling and response services to The Rest. Thorburn was chosen due to their proven expertise in estate security management for several prestigious estates in South Africa.
